New Tiger 1200 family - main differences across the range
The new Tiger 1200 range has been launched
There’s a lot of detail to take in on the differences between the bikes: here’s our breakdown for a quick reference.
All models include:
- 7kg weight saving in the frame and swingarm alone
- More than 25kg lighter overall than the previous Tiger 1200
- New T-Plane triple engine with an increased maximum power of 150PS, delivered with 130Nm of torque
- Showa semi-active suspension
- Brembo Stylema monobloc brakes
- 7″ TFT with Bluetooth connectivity as standard
- Illuminated switchgear
- LED lighting
- Hand guards and skid guards
- 3 year warranty with 10k mile service intervals
In addition to the base model, the GT and Rally Pro are also equipped with:
- Triumph Shift Assist quick shifter
- Hill hold function
- Adaptive cornering lights
- Cruise control
- Centre stand
And then in addition to the Pro, the GT and Rally Explorer are also fitted with:
- Blind Spot Radar System
- Heated rider and pillion seats
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
- 30 litre fuel tank
- Engine protection bars
The Rally Pro gets an Off-road Riding Pro rider mode, and the Rally Explorer goes one further with fuel tank protection bars too
