Dapper Social Weekender 2023

Bigger. Better. More Dapper.

This year’s DGR ride will be bigger and better than ever.

One of our riders and friend of the shop, Ged Tellwright, has put a HUGE amount of effort in to making it a year to remember and is running the Dapper Social Weekender at the Tyne Bank Brewery, alongside this year’s DGR.

Saturday 20th May

Come along on Saturday night at the Tyne Bank Brewery, drink beer, eat street food and listen to live music from the Lou Ross band.  Entry from 6pm, and entry costs just a tenner – all ticket sales go to the DGR charities.

Sunday 21st May

Then on Sunday, roll up to the start point on Sunday from 10.45 and join us on a ride through the town, out to the coast and bank to the Tyne Bank Brewery again, for an after ride party from 1-4.30pm.

Entry to the brewery on Sunday is free, but if you want to look extra swanky then you can buy a badge for a fiver to gain FastTrack entry. Badges can be bought from Triumph Newcastle from now, and on the morning of the event.

All badge sales money also goes to the DGR charities.  Not yet registered for the DGR? Do it now

If it’s raining heavily and you don’t fancy wet tweed…

We get it.  Head to the Tyne Bank Brewery from 1pm and join the fun anyway.

The ‘Weekender’

Ged has put a HUGE amount of effort in to this and we applaud him for it. If it’s well supported, then it may well become a more regular event 🙂

The route

The route itself will be similar to previous years, with a slight change at the end to finish at the Tyne Bank, rather than down on the quayside.
